University Transition from Proctorio to Honorlock

As of January of 2024 (the Spring semester), the university is no longer supporting Proctorio for remote exam proctoring. We will be switching platforms to Honorlock.

Much like Proctorio, Honorlock is an online proctoring tool with identity verification, test monitoring, and a number of other features to ensure academic integrity. It is integrated with Canvas and does not require any changes to the content of your course and no extra software downloads are necessary. We piloted Honorlock over the summer and both students and faculty found it incredibly easy to use. Most importantly we had almost no technical support issues.

As we phase out Proctorio, we encourage you to join our sessions on implementing Honorlock in your assessments. These sessions are crucial for a smooth transition and to familiarize yourself with the new system.
